✍️Draft Payments

Wish you could prepare a transaction before executing? HQ.xyz's draft payments allow you create, review, and execute payments from one easy interface.

What you can do with Draft Payments:

• Assign users to create and review token payments

• Assigns users to be the final approvers and execute payments

• Have the freedom to edit and draft transactions before completing a payment

• Be organised by preparing payments in advance

Creating a Draft Payment:

• From your HQ Dashboard, navigate to "Payments" and select "Manage Drafts"

• Select the "Create Draft button at the top right of the page

• Enter the recipient's wallet address, or choose from your saved list of addresses

• Choose the amount and type of asset to send

• Select the relevant Chart of Accounts, and attach and notes or files for reference

• Select the "Save as Drafts" button on the bottom left of the screen

• The created draft will now show up in your "Drafts" tab

Want to submit a draft immediately? Select the "Submit for review" button at the bottom right of your screen

Bulk import Draft Payments with CSV

• Download CSV template here and enter the relevant recipient details

• Navigate to your payments page and select "Manage Drafts"

• Select the "Create Draft" button at the top right of the page

• Select the "Add from CSV" button at the top right of the page

• Drop in or select your CSV file

• Select the "Saves as Drafts" button at the bottom left of your screen

• The created Draft will show in your "Drafts" tab

Reviewing and Approving Draft Payments

• Navigate to the "Pending Review" tab and select the Draft Payment you wish to review

• Verify the details and select "Mark and Reviewed"

• Alternatively, select the three buttons at the right side of the screen to send it back to your drafts

• Once approved, you can now use the draft to send payments

Rejecting Draft Payments

• Navigate to the "Pending Review" tab

• Select the Draft Payment you wish to review

• Select the three buttons at the right side of the screen to delete or send it back to your drafts

• Alternatively, select "View Details" to review attached notes, files, and activity log

Invalid Data

Draft payments will appear in the "Invalid Data" tab if there are errors in the transaction details, most commonly due to changes in wallet address. Here's how to troubleshoot such drafts:

• Navigate to the "Invalid Data" tab and select the Draft Payment you wish to review

• Select "Fix Issues" and verify the error caused was due to changes in the address book

• If you have saved the updated address, select the "Recipient" drop-down box, choose the new address, and select the "Save Changes" button at the bottom

• Alternatively, navigate to your "Address Book" and select the "View Details" button

• Edit the relevant wallet address and select the "Save Changes" button at the top right of the page

• Navigate to the "Invalid Data" tab and select "Fix Issues"

• Choose the updated address and select "Save Changes" at the bottom

• Your payment will now be moved back to "Drafts" for review

Failed Payment

Draft Payments will appear in the "Failed" tab if there is an issue during the actual on-chain transaction, or if you reject the transaction in your EOA or Safe wallet.

• Once a transaction fails, you may "Retry" it from your "Make Payment" page

• Alternatively, navigate to the "Failed" tab and select the Draft Payment you wish to review

• Select the three button at the right side of the screen and select "View Details"

• Review the transaction or check the activity log to discover when the transaction failed

• Select "retry payment" and select "Confirm & Pay"

• Confirm the transaction in your EOA or Safe wallet.

You are always in control of your own funds. HQ.xyz never has access to any of your wallets.
